Very very rare and hard-to-find title! Red cloth with gilt lettering on the spine. Dj is nicely preserved in a brand new protective mylar plastic cover! Extremely scarce first edition! 104 very clean unmarked and uncreased historical and informative pages nicely enhanced by black and white illustrations and 4 wonderful pages of black and white photographs! "The purpose of this book is to help those who enjoy the irresistible charm of hooked and braided rugs and other oldtime handicrafts and wish to take a hand in making one or more of them on their own account, with a hope of approximating the same quaint charm which radiates from ancestral heirlooms................".
