About This Item
London: J. M. Dent & Sons, 1912. Hardcover. pp. xvi, 255.,12mo,,Bound in original beige/grey cloth with coloured top edge,Not a particularly uncommon title in the series, but seldom seen in the publisher's original printed dust jacket (which was not made to last). The jacket is worn, with noticeable rubbing to the folds, and a significant loss to the spine. However, the front panels and folds are intact and overall it is still in serviceable condition. The spine of the book is fully embellished in gilt. The binding shows little wear and almost no soiling, and the book appears never to have been read. A very good copy. A title in The Everyman's Library series, with an Introduction by Bertram C. Windle.
