About This Item
London: Bell and Daldy, 1872. 416 pages + xxiv prelims. 40 colour engravings. Leather boards with gilt decoration and raised bands to the spine. The front cover is gilt-embossed with Spalding Grammar School's crest. There are marbled endpapers, with a similar pattern to the text-block edges. Condition: There is slight staining to the cover, and a small split to the head of the spine. Internally there is a little light foxing, with a school gift inscription on the first page, dated 1877. Every book is sent in a rigid cardboard posting box.. Hardcover. Good. 18 Cm x 12 Cm.
