United Kingdom: Edmonston & Douglas. Very Good+. 1863. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. An 1863 1st edition hardcover, recently re-bound to a high standard, in navy blue cloth with bumped corners. The blue leather spine, with bright gilt lettering, is lightly bumped to the ends. The original text-block is in excellent condition, without cropping or annotation. The pages are occasionally very slightly foxed, the original rough-cut edges are tanned with the top edge gilt. A lovely copy. Carefully packaged and despatched within 48 hours from our wee bookshop in Scotland.; B&W Illustrations; 336 pages .
