Original green cloth binding with gilt text to the spine, black lined margins, minimal wear, joints firm. Contents clean and tight, original black coated endpapers, inscriptions, several tipped in cut out plates to endpaper and half title, added with care. To the reverse a newspaper cut out by C. M. Yonge on Oceanography at Edinburgh, no foxing. A near fine copy with interesting additions that add to the title..
