My listing includes PHOTO OF ACTUAL BOOK for sale. Book VERY GOOD PLUS / Covers Good Plus. Boards and spine are navy cloth, lettering gilt, please note that front cover and spine are badly sunned, they are not deformed just turned from navy to very light blue. Front cover is straight and has minimal corner and edge wear, has some horizontal etched lines as accent they seem to be plain blue, front cover colour is reduced to a very light blue, almost grey, front cover also has some faint brownish marks and a small medium grey stain at the open side 1 inch x 3/8 inches in size. Spine is also reduced to light blue/greyish but the text is clearly legible and the embossing is not rubbed down to being flat, the spine has some faint brownish marks but has no edge wear or tears. The back cover has one bent and slightly bruised corner and is navy with areas where it is lighter and a round area 1 1/4 x 7/8 where it is very light blue. Overall the covers are not in bad shape. Page edges a bit sunned, side and bottom edges have faint soil and a few light stains, top edges show an old stain but it didn’t deform the paper. Inner end papers are white and back has a round brown mark about 1/4 inch in size. Inside of book is tight, clear, flat, some pages have faint marks on them which I think is age acting on the paper. I saw a one word note in ink, didn’t see any others. A few pages dog eared about 1/2 inch, restored flat. Book is over-opened at page 112 where the paper at spine is torn but not open and spine is not damaged, same at page 128 with the tear making a larger gap so that some of the binding shows but no pages are loose and spine is not broken. Small bit of age darkening inside covers at binding and on edges of some pages. One page of book advertising in front. Black/white photo plate at title page. Nine pages of book advertising in back.
