London: Longmans, Green, and Co, 1920. The official history of the war July 1914-November 1918. Published in 5 text volumes with plans and maps (many in color) in 4 separate cases (Over 40 maps in one volume) at intervals between 1920-1931. Vols 1-4 ex-lib. Vols 1 spine taped and Vol 5 clean no markings. They provide an essential and invaluable source for the further research of the entire naval war in all the parts of the world. NOTE: Plans 4 and 5 missing from Vol 2. Plans 1-3 missng in Vol 3 map book, Map 9 missing from Vol 4 mapbook. All other maps appear to be present and undamaged. Remaining volumes are bright and clean. Most have previous owner bookplates inside front cover. Text is clean. Hard to find in clean condition.. 1st Edition. Cloth. Very Good+/No Jacket - Issued. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
