No date but c1920. Publishers original blue cloth boards with gilt blocked titles and picture of ship onlay to front, gilt titles and decoration to spine. Binding tight and boards clean. Light rubbing to corners and spine ends. Slight forward lean. Rough cut fore and bottom edges. Content clean and bright. Tonal line mark to grey endpapers. Purple ribbon marker. All 42 plates present and clean with no foxing. Jacket not clipped, is in two halves with loss to spine ends, tears to folds. Not ex-library. No names, notes or inscriptions. 135pp. All books are individually described. All overseas orders are sent airmail by Royal Mail International Tracked. Also listed in the 'Shown to the Children' Series are Nests and Eggs; Butterflies and Moths; Bees; The Sea-Shore; Stars; Architecture, all with dust jackets.
