Black brushed cloth with gilt titles on front and spine, is very clean and unmarked, no wear to extremities, tight, solid and square. Gold ribbon page marker. Former owner inscription of endpaper. On the inside, the front and rear inner lower edge of endpapers and flyleaf are wrinkled, otherwise internals are fine--pages quite clean, no markings. The jacket has a nice appeaance on front with light corner wear; the back is wrinkled and faintly stained. Neal Pollack has won the Pulitzer Prize, the Booker Prize, the National Book Award, three times, and the Premio Rigobetta Menchu for service to the indigenous peoples of Guatemala. This is the first comprehensive collection of his work ever published, largely because the government is afraid of his ideas.
