In very good plus light brown cloth boards, with dark brown spine; white titles to back strip. The covers are tight, straight and clean, slightly edge-worn, especially to spine ends. The blue and white wavy patterned end papers are clean. Unmarked cut edges. The text block is tightly bound, square and clean and fully illustrated with colour, b/w and sepia illustrations and maps etc. Slight warp to pages. No dedications etc. Near fine condition. In near fine black glossy dust jacket with central colour photo of Ned Kelly. The jacket is clean and with sound edges. Not price clipped. Heavy. About Clevedon Community Bookshop
Clevedon Community Bookshop, co-operatively owned, opened on 31 December 2011 and now has a general stock of approximately 20,000 books. Our bookshop in Copse Road is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11.00am to 4.00pm. The co-operative comprises just over 600 members from around the world and was set up to stop the only second-hand bookshop in our town from closing. The benefit of being a member/shareholder is only social: no-one benefits financially. All profits are used to improve the bookshop and its stock, and, through events, to contribute to the literacy and literary profile of our town.
