Den Haag (The Hague), Netherlands Oversized stapled softcover, 24 tipped in original bookplate ("opgeplakte gravures") designs;---text in Dutch;---laid in is a charming handpainted "Xmas New Year 1938 1939" card (actually a folded sheet of cheap wartime paper);---gentle bumps to oversized covers which are also age toned, tiny bookplate inside front cover by previous owner (Dutch-Canadian silhouette artist and graphic designer Hans-Detlev Voss who still lived and worked in The Netherlands during the 1930s/1940s) and his tiny ink numeral inside back cover, but text block intact and tight, very clean and unmarked.
