About This Item

New York: William Morrow, 2005. First Edition. First Printing. good, very good. 534, illus., notes, bibliography, index, rear flyleaf missing, slight weakness to rear board. Inscribed by the author. Helen Herron Taft was overt about her power and saw to it that her husband both aspired to, and won, the Presidency. Her fate was ultimately bound to larger events, including the Titanic sinking and Theodore Roosevelt's creation of the Bull Moose Party.
