FIRST EDITION, ADVANCE COPY, "Please note the release date for review is April 30, 1926" - attached paste-down from publisher, Houghton Mifflin, Boston. Includes four other stories by the author (aka Mrs. Basil De Selincourt), her first five of many published writings. VERY GOOD HC. Blue cloth over boards cover has gilt lettering & design on fr., very faded gilt lettering on spine. Cover corners are bumped & worn at base, lightly so at top; spine ends curled. Inside, fr. cover has old price in blue pencil; ffep, former owner's name in pencil; pages very lightly tanned. Overall, VERY GOOD.
