No date but c1920. Publishers original beige cloth boards with green blocked titles and colour onlay to front, green titles and decoration to spine. Binding tight and boards clean, minor pushing spine ends. Rough cut fore and bottom edges. Content clean and bright. Very small retailers label 'Brooker & Saville, Hastings' to rear pastedown. All 48 colour plates present and clean with no foxing. Red ribbon marker. Jacket not clipped with chipping to spine ends, some creasing and small tears to edges, spine sunned. Overall, a very good copy. Not ex-library. No names, notes or inscriptions. 78pp. All books are individually described. All overseas orders are sent airmail by Royal Mail International Tracked. Also listed in the 'Shown to the Children' Series are The Sea-Shore; Butterflies and Moths; Bees; The Navy; Stars; Architecture, all with dust jackets.
