Rutland, Vermont: Charles E. Tuttle Company, 1964. An Anthology of 320 Japanese Haikus translated into English verse. With 33 Haiku Paintings in full color. Essay written by the author. 180 pages with index. Maroon and cream buckram covers with brown/gilt image with Japanese writing on front. Cover corners and edges are lightly bumped, some small strings on the buckram, spine is faded with some creasing and soiling. Slipcase in Good condition with rubbing and wear to edges and corners, bottom of opening is very bumped and torn with boards exposed, some color fading to spine, minor scuffing. Front endpapers are foxed. Small tear to top page edge on page 18. Otherwise interior is tight, clean. Book in VG condition.. Eighth Printing. Hard Cover. Very Good/Slipcase. Illus. by Haiku Paintings. Size: Approx. 5 1/4" x 8 ". Japan.
