Nets to Catch the Wind, New York: Harcourt, Brace, 1921.Thin 12mo, first edition, pp. [ii], 47, ribbed brown cloth boards with a smooth cloth shelfback of a slightly different shade, brown stamped lettering to spine and front. Printed on unwatermarked paper, which BAL considers to be the first printing. This book is Wylie's first using her name, preceded by an anonymous effort in 1912 that was limited to 65 copies. BAL 23484, MJ p. 551, Feminist Companion p. 192.Condition of this book:Near fine. Short tear in jacket at top edge of front panel, chipping at upper spine. Top edge of leaves is dust darkened, offsetting from a newspaper article on title page. Shipments outside the U.S. may be subject to local taxes. Size: 12mo. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
