Chicago: Henry Regnery Company, 1963. Hardcover. As told to Marguerite Harmon Bro. 8vo. Green cloth with gilt spine lettering, pictorial price-clipped dust jacket. 334pp. Illustrations (some color). Near fine/very good. Jacket a bit edgeworn. First edition. Illinoisan Walgreen (1887-1964), widow of the drugstore magnate, was herself a noted gardener. She inscribes the front flyleaf large and bold in blue ballpoint "With cordial greetings," signing in full and adding "(Mrs. Chas R.).
