Countries covered include the UK, france, Austria, Hungary, Belgium, Germany, Russia, the Netherlands, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Poland, Caucasia, Roumania (Romania), Canada, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Italy, India, Hong Kong, Ceylon, Bulgaria, Servia (Serbia), Finland, Jamaica, Japan, etc. basically any country the author could find information on. Fascinating comparison of the differences in countries during 1880's to the early 1900's. Germany had 2007 strikes between 1902-6 compared with 849 in France & merely 406 in the UK & about one fifth of them succeeded. Norway had the greatest number of people over 94 years during the 1890s, followed by Scotland. You'd be less lucky age wise living in Eastern Europe. Ex reference library with number on spine, decorative bookplate, stamps on endpapers, one on first page, blind stamp & number on reverse of title page. No other obvious library markings, inner book is clean & in very good condition. ***Over 2kg & may require extra overseas postage***
