SECOND PRINTING, circa 1839, pamphlet, approximately 185 x 100 mm, 7¼ x 4 inches, folding hand coloured frontispiece, pages: [1-4], 5-24, some pages not numbered, bound in the publisher's original green printed wrappers. Spine worn with loss of paper (see image), slight offset to title page from frontispiece, otherwise a very good clean copy. An uncommon cookery pamphlet, mostly on meat and fish with a few recipes for puddings. The title page gives references to the various illustrations on the frontispiece. See William Cagle, A Matter of Taste, page 648, No. 898. He states: "The back wrapper lists Church-yard Gleanings", this title not listed on the back wrapper of our copy.
