Bound simply in an Imperial octavo hardcover format, green cloth over boards, moderately worn, slightly soiled, rubbing to edges, tips, but with clean, tightly bound, unmarked interiors. Top-stained in green. Creasing to a range of pages up front of the first volume, dissipating quickly. Previous owner's penned inscription at first free endpapers, with purchase prices ($86.00, $3.00, and $63.00) in 1970. Prefaces by Donald Ebor, President of the Joint Committee responsible for publication of this edition. Introduction to Old Testament, Guide to the Notes, Marginal Numbers, The Apocrypha, the New Testament. Old Testament: xxiv, 1-1366 pp.; New Testament: xv, 1-275 pp.; The Apocrypha: xiv, 1-447 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
