A contemporary historical account of the expulsion of the Jewish community from Moscow, and its background. Head and tail of spine chipped and rubbed. One-inch tear along head and tail of spine on front board. Corners bumped and worn. Wear to edges. Some scuffing and staining to boards and spine. Hinges starting. Gutter on front free endpapers has been repaired with tape. Small bookplate to inside of front board. One plate loose but present. Tissue-guarded frontispiece of Alexander III. Illustrated with full-page b/w reproductions of photographs. Fair condition.
