About This Item
London: W. Johnston, 1760. Seventh Edition. Hardcover. Very good text in a newly rebound brown cloth binding.. Octavo. 5.5 x 8.25 in. xiv, 640 pp. Contains 23 then-new, fold-out maps of the several countries described in the text. For its age, the text is in excellent shape. There is age-related toning, but little in the way of foxing. A previous owner has patched a few spots on the title page to both a minor hole and cover old notations. The half title bears the names and signatures of two prior owners.
