8vo. strongly bound in half dark red calf with matching boards. [i-viii]. [2]. 358pp. pagination and plates as per Upcott 138. folding hand coloured map by Cary, sepia etched plate of Derby and an attractive sepia Aquatint of Belper. uncut. map rather enthusiastically repaired on its reverse with sellotape probably half a century ago. seemingly ex-library with an accession number on spine but no stamps. some foxing and offsetting otherwise faults notwithstanding a good copy.
