About This Item

New York: Donaldson Brothers, 1880. Later printing. Very Good. [5x3in]; Light tan card with black ink; slight wear except for small crease, closed tear and corner chip missing with loss of patent date text, light penciled name "Maggè" on back. A rare made to order trade card for the New Home Sewing machine that. This was one of several different illustrations that used candle or electric light to complete the image.
