About This Item

New York: Leo Castelli / Castelli Graphics, 1974. Short owner's inscription, top corners lightly bumped, else fine in a fine jacket jacket with a hint of yellowing at the edges. Housed in a custom clamshell box.. Limited Edition. Square quarto. Number 48 of 100 hand-numbered copies; SIGNED by Baltz. The existence of this limited edition is little documented in the book trade. Fifty one uniform black and white images of suburban industrial buildings, shot in a minimalist style. A book celebrated for its intentional boring beauty, and one of the highlights of the New Topographics movement in American photography. (Roth 228-229, Open Book 298-299; Auer 576).
