These letters were contributed to the New York Times, and include visits to Chicago, Colorado describing the Rockies and mines, Utah, California, mostly traveling by railroad. -- Hardcover, brown with bright gold and black decoration. Condition: good only (spine tips and corners little worn and bumped;binding bit weak). -- Grace Greenwood (pseudonym of Sara Jane Clarke Lippincott) was a feminist activist, poet, published anti-slavery and women's rights essays, wrote children's books, as well as travel letters [Feminist Companion to Literature].
