About This Item
Copy 69 of 500 numbered copies of this novel of a succubus in California. A beautiful example of the bookmaker's art: the cloth is the most sensual I've ever felt binding a book. This copy appears unread (personally, I'd recommend keeping it so, as I read the book and found it literarily unsatisfactory for many reasons). Owings and Chalker say the illustrations are tipped in: they're not, they're on a coated stock unlike the rest of the book, but they're bound in and bleed to the edge of the pageblock. This book was originally sold at $125, so the price I'm listing is a definite discount. Slight dust stains on the slipcase; both slipcase and book undented. A very pretty collectable copy of a book I didn't like. Photos don't really help: the slipcase is solid black. This is a book which should be felt, rather than seen.
