New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1941. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Good. Near Fine in a Good jacket illustrated by George Salter, unclipped ($3.00), generally toned, chipped at the edges, a few closed tears, red stain on the back panel. Tan cloth with blue and red ink lettering and designs on the spine and front board. Square and firmly bound, toned at the top edge and endpapers, clean otherwise. A collection of Mencken's writing for the Baltimore Morning Herald.
