A children's science-fiction novella about a boy, his family, and his cat Horace (named after the author's cat), who move to a strange new planet whose life forms are menaced by the monstrous Glimmung. Written in 1966, though not published until 1988, six years after his death. Plowman's Planet is also the setting for Dick's GALACTIC POT-HEALER (1969).
Synopsis
Nick and the Glimmung is a children's science fiction novel, originally written by Philip K. Dick in 1966, it was first published by Gollancz in 1988. It is set on "Plowman's Planet", in the same continuity as his adult SF novel, Galactic Pot-Healer.
