Grubb's first book which was made into a Charles Laughton directed movie with Robert Mitchum, Shelley Winters, and Lillian Gish. One of a thousand copies specially autographed for friends of the author and publisher. Small scar to blue paper on boards along cloth on front cover, other wise clean, bright copy. Lacking the glassine wrapper. Record # 412341
