Toronto: McClelland & Stewart , 1981. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. pp: 345. FIRST CANADIAN EDITION. The first Canadian edition inscribed and signed by the author on the free endpaper. The sixth 'Dirk Pitt' novel. Most of the signed copies of this book are the American publishers. A signed copy published by McClelland & Stewart is far less common. This is a very good copy in a very good dust jacket. The book has light soiling on the boards and page edges. The jacket, protected with a Brodart cover, has light edge wear, a little heavier at the spine ends, and a one-inch closed tear at the base of the front cover.
Synopsis
Night Probe! is an adventure novel by Clive Cussler. This is the 5th book featuring the author’s primary protagonist, Dirk Pitt. Published in 1981, it is set in the near future of 1989, a date with ironic significance (see below).
