Type: Book Fully bound in calf, rebacked with original boards. 5 raised bands to spine, blind embossed decoration to spine. Gilt spine titled and boarders and decorative patterns to boards. Original marbled end papers, with engraved frontis portrait, engraved vignette on the title page and 8 fine engraved plates after Thomas Stothard. Internally fine with the Matrimonial Armorial plate of Dame Edith Evans and her husband to FPD. Printed by C.Whittingham. Dame Edith Evans signature and the date 1924 are beautifully written to a fep.
