About This Item
Harper and Brothers 1961, Stated First Edition (C-L) Stated first edition Harper and Brothers, with C-L under the statement. This means it was printed in March (C) 1961 (L). Book and dust cover are not perfect. At some point the book has been exposed to damp or moisture. The outer pages on both top and bottom, back and front there are slight wibbles in the pages and faint, light staining. But it is not all the way thru the book. Page edges are hand-torn style, there are some slight dents in the edges when the book is closed. ~ Hardback : hard cover edition, with original unclipped dust cover jacket, book is in good condition with defects mentioned above, pages are unmarked. Dust cover is in fair to condition, shows wear, chipping and worn off spots, as well as, the white cover shows age discoloring and some stains. It is not protected in our photos, but we will put the dust cover in mylar before it's put in to storage. Together it makes a nice presentation for this scarce first edition. Like any typical used book with some slight wear to edges and spine. Firmly readable. As to be expected with used books, there may be some minor bumping, creases, and/or scuffs. Overall a good copy and presents well, despite defects in the mylar protector. As is, as found. ~ We appreciate your consideration of one of our books, art prints or novelty items.
