London: Lawrence And Bullen, 1903. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 1903 FIRST PRINTING of First UK Edition. Original green cloth with gilt lettering front and spine, big gilt decoration front cover. The book has clean covers, slight darkening to spine, rubbing to corners, edges, and spine ends, old owner gift inscription (dated 1904) on FFEP otherwise no former owner marks or writing on any pages, some foxing on some of the pages opposite photo plates but no foxing on other pages, solid binding, complete with all plates-maps-pages. The book measures 229mm tall x 150mm, and has 341 pages, 73 b/w photos/images (including the large folding map at rear). PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
