The Nineteenth of April 1775 by Harold Murdock

This volume consists of three papers that form a consecutive commentary on the first battle of the American Revolution. The first two papers, Historic Doubts on the Battle at Lexington and The British at Concord, were originally read before the Massachusetts Historical Society in 1916 and in 1922. The third paper, Earl Percy’s Retreat to Charlestown, was read in 1921 before the Colonial Society.
