Hodder & Stoughton Limited, 1940. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1940. First Edition. 487 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Blue cloth with red speckled textblock edges. Black and white photographic frontispiece, and 183 other pictures. Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages are noticeably tanned and foxed, but text and images remain clear. Binding is firm. Boards have light shelf-wear, with minor corner bumping and minimal scuffing to edges. Spine is moderately sunned. Slight rubbing and faint black marking overall.
