Contemporary half calf and marbled paper over boards, rubbed; The large folding map, MAP OF THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA, Published by The North Carolina Land Company, 1870, Raleigh, N.C., 23 x 8 1/8 inches, has loss in the lightly detailed area of the Atlantic Ocean near the coast, otherwise it is complete and in very good condition. The texts shows light overall toning. The map that accompanies the second title is, COLTON'S NORTH CAROLINA, 1873, 16 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches and has considerable loss at two of the folds. The endpapers are foxed.

For very expensive items we ship via Federal Express or UPS insured. When possible, we will send small items via U.S. Postal Service Global Priority if insurance is not available at the customers risk. All shipping charges are billed at actual cost and we are pleased to communicate the various options and charges. We will need the street address and telephone number to complete the airway bill.
