About This Item

Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.: Grand Central Pub, 1996. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good+. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. The author's first novel is the story of an enduring love affair between a WWII veteran and the woman he knew before the war. First printing with correct full number line sequence. Aside from a name on the front and rear pastedown endpapers, this is a clean copy with no writing, marks, underlining, or bookplates. No remainder marks. Not an ex-library copy. Spine is tight and crisp, though the binding does show through a bit along the gutter of the title page. Boards are flat and true, though the lower spine is a bit bumped. Corners are slightly cocked. Dust jacket is not price-clipped and shows minor edge wear and some scuffing to the front and back cover. This collectible, very good+/very good+, first edition/first printing copy is protected with an archival mylar dust jacket cover. Satisfaction guaranteed!

Synopsis

The Notebook is a 1996 American romantic novel by American novelist Nicholas Sparks. The novel was later adapted into a popular romance film by the same name in 2004. However, the movie and the book have very different endings.
