Contents clean and tight, original pale yelllow coated endpapers, no inscriptions, a little spotting to first few pages. A very good first edition copy. [Bibliographic note: the last four pages are the publisher's catalogue which lists various books on birds and natural history published by Gurney & Jackson, arranged under the titles "Books of Local Observation on Birds", "Other Books about Birds", An Illustrated Manual of British Birds by Howard Saunders" and "Standard Works on British Natural History".].
