Original soft covers bound into gilt-lettered blue covers; 5" x 7.75", covers are near fine; text is very good; 331 pp text including Annexe a L'Historie de la Sculpture et de La Cislure Japonaise as 17 folding genealogical charts of families, schools, artistes (fine, no age-toning) and bibliographie. The text printed on deckle-edged paper is uniformly age-toned. This copy belonged first to Langdon Warner with his name in ink on the front end paper and his initials in gilt on the spine and thence to Adrian Rubel of the Asiatic Research Bureau at The Fogg Art Museum (his stamp on inside covers and back of the title page
