Boston: Little Brown, 1947. First Edition preceding the English edition. Signed presentation copy inscribed by the author, James Hilton to his friend and Hollywood entertainment lawyer, Norman Tyre. Inscribed on the front free endpaper: “For Norman with all good wishes from Jimmy, Nov. 1947.” Additionally, Hilton has signed his name, “James Hilton”, in full on the title page. Fine in a very good lightly used dust jacket with some sunning at spine and a few tiny chips and small tears.
