WRITTEN IN FRENCH . * An exceptionally RARE example of Hearn's FIRST PUBLISHED BOOK without his name on the title page, seldom found. Written in French by Hearn, with table [of contents] & appendix at the back. . Please see Perkins where he illustrates this as the first book in his historic Hearn bibliography, see below for exact details. . *** CONDITION: Generic description: Each example is bound in the original publisher's colored paper wrappers, all firm and solid. . Each copy has the printer's spelling error on the title page publisher's name reads incorrectly: "Propagatetr," while the cover title is correct reading: "Propagateur." Although he cites "fore edge trimmed, top and lower edges cut," we have examples that differ slightly. The pink example with top and fore edge trimmed, bottom edge uncut, rough. . His illustrated example shows a double-rule outside the title, one of ours has an elaborate set of posts with decorations at top and bottom, per the photos posted to our website. . He cites examples in colors: pink, blue, tan & green. We have had pink, blue and yellow examples. .
