Numerous black and white illustrative plates throughout. Volume 4. Binding remains firm. Major crack to title page gutter with netting exposed. Mild cracking to internal gutters. Pages and plates are moderately tanned throughout. There is the previous owner's inscription to title page. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends and bumping to corners with fraying to cloth. Tanning to spine and edges, gilt lettering is darkened. Slight speckled mold markings to front and back boards.
