About This Item

London: Methuen and Co. Ltd., 1927. 1st Edition . Fair. 5 x 7 inches (12.5 x 19 cm). First printing. The deluxe edition, bound in full red leather, all page edges gilt. A heavily worn example with perishing to the leather and loss to spine and board corners. Heavy rubbing to edges. Internally in very clean condition, just a little browning to half title page and final page. Bookseller's embossed stamp to half title page. A sought after edition, but sadly let down by the poor binding. Overall condition is Fair. Size: 5 x 7 inches (12.5 x 19 cm). Hardback. Printed pages: x, [2], 103, [1]
