As well as describing individual guns, there is historical data on the evolution of the one-hand gun and an analysis of pistol and revolver types. EB; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .

A neat-looking set in very good minus condition due to light cover wear and previous owners name inside. Brown cloth with the blue field for the gilt titles on front covers and on spines. Volume One is a revised printing "Fourth Printing, 1953" manufacturing date on copyright page; and volume two states "Second Printing, November 1952". Yet a perfectly matched original vintage set. Lots of photos - page after page and much data. An excellent reference work that is surprsing. Size: 8vso . VG Minus. Brown Cloth with Blue Harcover. 1953.
