Tortosa [Spain]: Revista Iberica, 1919. Pamphlet. 12 pp., illustrations. 10.25 x 6.75 in. At head of title: "Curiosidad scientifica." Colophon: "Imprenta Moderna Alguero y Baiges, Tortosa.". Text of a conference paper on the design and function of a pocket sundial delivered before the Association of Industrial Engineers of Barcelona (Asociación de Ingenieros Industriales de Barcelona). Includes an illustration and photographs of the model pocket sundial. It was reprinted a year later in the Revista de Obras Publicas, Spain's preeminent engineering journal (and currently the oldest non-daily journal, established 1853). The author was an engineer and inventor who made significant contributions to the local camera industry beginning in the 1920s. He produced film, photographic papers, and published the camera trade journal Infonal; he founded the company Negra Internacional in 1936 (closed 1987).
