Side edges of last few pages liquid stained. Nurimono is a Japanese varnishing handicraft. Color plate: ""Flying Fish."" Other artwork included on black and white plates: ""Crane"" cabinet by Matsuda Gonroku; ""Pine, Bamboo and Plum,"" cha-ire by Yamashita Yosai and ""Sea-gulls in Storm,"" ko-ire by Rokkaku Shisui; ""Peaches,"" vase by Ichia Seiichi and ""Crab and Shrimp"" by Yamashita Yozan; ""Black Monkeys"" by Meguro Seishu.
