Volumes I and II (of three), full brown leather, gilt compartments and 5 raised bands on spine, gilt title lettering on spine, 12 mo, LX, 288, 372 pp. Marbled endpapers, all edges of text block red. First edition of this classic history by the famed Swedish historian (1748-1834). Old bookplate on front paste-down of each volume, owners name ffep, small ink stain bottom rear endpaper of volume I. Minor foxing in text. Covers show slight edge wear, especially bottom corners. Book condition VG. Uncommon. Text in Swedish.
