33 pages with table and two had written letters by John Peters. Quarto (11 1/4" x 9") bound in a clear front report cover. (Lusis: 1736) First edition.
Two hand written pages by John Peters as a reporter on the tournament included at the back of the bulletins.
This was the 24th US Championship and World Championship Zonal played from June 7-26 in Oberlin, Ohio. Fourteen contestants were invited. As a result of this tournament, Walter Browne, and Ken Rogoff qualified for the 1976 Interzonals. Robert Byrne also qualified as a result of having played in the 1974 Candidates Matches. Browne also became the Closed Champion with 8.5. Milan Vukcevich captured clear third with 7.5. A share of fourth and fifth included Robert Byrne and Samuel Reshevsky each with 7 points. This tournament featured a dispute perhaps unique in the annals of chess; Reshevsky complaining to the tournament director over the refusal of another player to honor an illegal agreement to pre-arrange the result of a game. (Chess Life & Review (September 1975). Four players shared sixth through ninth: William Lombardy, Arthur Bisguier who drew all his games, James Tarjan and Kim S Commons each with 6.5. Tenth through thirteenth a full point behind were Lubomir Kavalek, John Peters, Edmar Mednis and John Grefe. Pulling up the rear with a miserable tournament was Pal Benko.

Some folds in the bulletins, some age darkening to perimeters, some tears in John Peters' letters else a very good set.
