Hardcover has red full-leather-covered boards with gold spine lettering. Spine has embossed portrait of the author; cover has gold facsimile of author's signature. All page edges decorated with red stylized leaf pattern. Illustrated red and white endpapers. Black and white frontispiece. NOT ex-library. Very thin paper. Red silk index ribbon; ribbon is frayed at bottom edge. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Covers have light surface and edge wear, with minor rubbing at spine ends. A few pages have creases; pages are wavy at gutter due to thinness of paper. Name stamped in black on front endpaper. Pages clean and unmarked. 1477 pages. No dust jacket. Juan Valera, Complete Works, Volume 3. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
